I haven't ever had any issues. Been trading with them for 3 years and change. I've have been profitable, and I have blown accounts. 98% of orders are filled and TP's are filled. 100% stoplosses filled... Mehr ansehen

This is one of the useless brokers I have ever seen. I am trading for 10 year and used a lot of different brokers but never seen such useless bunch. I am trying to open a trading account nou from January and it's April and getting all different excuses. Don't waste your time this oanda.

User beware.
This company locks you out of the system and
Kicks you out of trades while doing so limiting your profits.
Very glitchy Mobile Trading Platform.
Sent 4 withdrawal requests just to be told via email that the system again is down.
This company feels like a border line scam since it was fairly simple to deposit funds and difficult to withdraw.
There is NO REAL TIME PHONE SUPPORT to get any understanding.
Just a FAQ loop that doesn’t help at all.
Very disappointed.

I made a deposit of $500 that closed on 3/2/2026. I turned around and requested withdrawal on 03/02/26. It is 03/06/26 on a Friday and the withdrawal is still pending. I contacted through: email, SMS, online and even through FTMO but everything seems to be dead over there. No one is responding to my inquiry. Just dead silence.

I have an account with pretty much every major US broker out there, and boy oh boy getting an account with OANDA proved to be by far the worst experience I've ever gone through. What I went through in a nutshell:
- ID verification using my driver's license failed (the same one that worked on every other financial account). This should've been a red flag. They sent me an email to re-upload my driver's license at another website, along with some more questions that were already answered in the original registration form.
- I re-uploaded my driver's license, and this time it appears to have passed, but then I get a reply from them saying "You have confirmed a lower [Net Worth] figure than you initially declared", which is odd because the amount was smack in the middle of the RANGE that I selected in the original registration form.
- In order to prove to them that there was no discrepancy in my net worth, I went through the registration process again just so I can take a screenshot of that Net Worth field with the dropdown menu. Little did I know at the time, this was a big mistake because I used the same phone number when I registered a second time (see below). I replied to them to explain the Net Worth field was a range, not a specific amount, and attached the screenshot.
- Then things started getting out of control. They replied saying "Due to inconclusive results from our Electronic ID verification process, unfortunately, the SSN provided could not be validated in our system" and "We noticed that the phone number and address information you provided upon registration is already associated with another account".
- After I explained to them why there was another account with the same phone number, and in fact closed the other account, they replied saying: "At the current time, OANDA is unable to accept your application. As a regulated entity, OANDA reserves the right to refuse a business arrangement without cause. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused, however we are not required to disclose the reason for the account closure."
Thus concludes the comedy known as OANDA Account Registration. I advise everyone to stay far away from this company.

Oanda is a scam. My account was automatically closed after I was holding my trade position for six month because my open trade position was earning a daily interest. When I reached out to customer service , they denied my screenshots of my positive balance and denied to pay me back. They said I had 0 zero balance, I had more than $1000 and a screenshot and email confirmation of my deposits. They still denied.

I have NEVER had a major exchange reach out to me like that before. That is STELLAR customer service right there.

I did not have a problem until recently. They asked me to update my personal information about 2-3 weeks ago, so I did. I get another email a few days later asking me to do the same, so I emailed them and they saw that I already updated it. I got a third email asking me to update it, so I did. I guess I made the last one higher by mistake. I am not able to trade because they want information I already gave them. This is getting ridiculous. Please deal with this Oanda!! This is unprofessional.

NFA: forced Oanda to refund customer money. Of course, Oanda deposits those refunds into customers' trading accounts.

Oanda will not let you take your withdraw your money, so be careful. I tried for nearly a year, and it became a nightmare. They asked for statements and account names to match the Oanda account, and even when they did, they came up with reasons for not allowing the withdrawal. Horrible experience, and the funds are still locked up (it's been over a year).
Response to the below: communication became very opaque from Oanda, making it MY responsibility to meet its arbitrary audit requirements.

Horrible, they are a legit broker but when I request a withdrawal they didn’t send the money to my account and instead want me to wait a week for it just to be credited back to my account, and they want me to wait until it settles just so i can withdraw it. Never using it again. If this is how they going to do business they are crap
