My partner & I visited the Reading store back in September.
We were greeted by Eve, who made a lasting impression on us, was so attentive & very knowledgeable we fell in love with a sofa & Eve was there throughout every moment guiding us on fabrics, personalisation etc.
Eve sent us the email with our basket, and having then read all of the terrible reviews we were gutted & very neatly shopped elsewhere, however we bit the bullet and we are so glad we did.
The communication from Sofology was great, our sofa was due in the delivery network around the 4th December however it then got delayed (which didn’t bother us at all) and it got delivered today, 20th December.
The communication on the phone & the updated website link was incredibly helpful, the staff were always friendly & willing to answer questions.
When we received our text with our delivery date, we were excited but so nervous and to be honest, dreading what we were due to receive after the reviews.
We received a delivery slot the day before (a 3 hour window), and the delivery drivers called 30 mins prior to arriving with us, I could also track the drivers on delivery day to ensure we were ready for them.
The drivers were brilliant, we had 3 people and they set all the sofa up, plugged everything in, treated our self-build new property with courtesy and care.
Our sofa is exactly what we ordered, we couldn’t be happier with the quality nor service, a huge thank you to Sofology!

Good informed staff
Both staff (Hamza on day 1 and Yassif on day 2 -apologies if spelling incorrect) were good. Took us through the mechanics and the talks about the chairs we were looking at. No pushing, good advice. No crowding either. Ended up buying 2 riser recliners. Thank you both.

Shocking Service - Don't buy from this company!!
We have just received my new sofa today and it was the wrong colour, so annoyed, even though this was confirmed three times. I received beige instead of light grey. Also, at the time of ordering, they didn't even bother getting back to me, to order a second sofa, along with my original order. Anyone would think, they don't want business!!
DO NO BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! I ordered my sofa, which arrived the wrong colour. I complained about this last week, still awaiting a resolution. When speaking with Sofology yesterday, the woman in customer service informed me, that they are inundated with issues, due to this time of year! I was also informed, that the Sofology systems are experiencing issues. The woman on the phone yesterday assured me i would have an answer by 5pm today, still waiting!! Yesterday after the woman abruptly kept over talking me, also decided she couldn't explain any further and terminated the call. I called the Rugby store (Bart was excellent) again assured i would hear today and no communication!! Pathetic service. Please don't waste your money with these cowboys!!

No issues with the in-store experience but
No issues with the in-store experience, they just sell what they're given to sell. That said, one of the things they sell is a 'white glove' delivery experience for a whopping £130!!
When the delivery guys turn up however it's clear they're just expecting to perform a drop off. They're not employed directly by Sofology (as far as I can tell) and in my case not given the tools they needed to do the job agreed with the store, not aware they were required to do it, not given the time in their schedule of deliveries to do the job promised etc. and my impression was this is a recurring theme! (full credit to these drivers they stepped up and did the job, they were great, but because they were nice people, not because they were primed to deliver a £130 white glove service!!)
*In response to your feedback, I already spoke to a lady about my concerns and experience. She said sorry but that was as far as we got. No delivery refund or transparency of an internal review etc.

Having problems with a really bad odour…
Having problems with a really bad odour coming from my sofa. Also the cushions are sagging the springs have gone slack & the sofa creaks.
Had an engineer from Sofology who told me this was all normal wear on my 18 month old sofa.
I tried to explain that with only two of us in the house & with two other rooms we use that have sofas, they have had minimal use.
I have requested a copy of the engineers report & asked to speak to a manager to escalate my complaint. They have ignored me so far. I am now left with no option but to go to court.
Avoid this company at all cost. Lots of complaints that don’t get dealt with.
They are fully aware of problems with odours (gassing)

Do not buy sofas from them!
I've received three sofas. Two of which were received damaged. I emailed over pictures of the damage within a couple of days of delivery only to be told, the pictures had to be of every side of the sofa, close up of the damage, a picture of the batch number and an explanation of how the damage occured.
They made it very complicated. However I still complied. It's been two weeks and I'm still waiting for a response. I've followed up with them and I'm still waiting.
It's been nearly a month since I had the sofas and getting some replacement sofas is becoming very drawn out. Awful customer service!
