I am pleased with the service provided by Lawn Starter. My servicer, DeAndre, does a great job.
Not complaining:
He has blown clippings into my flowerbed and blown the clippings into the ridges made after edging.
I am looking forward to LS continuously servicing my property.

Yes lawn starter give them 3 chances they sent me want to be pros very unprofessional kept pushing my lawn service back and it’s crazy am in a all black neighborhood and look at how they treat me on this but hopefully they get me a pro before my grass is to long and I will pay them and am looking for a good company thanks

My house is on a corner lot & the lawn was uneven with long grass, short grass, & lots of trimmings scattered throughout the front. What an eyesore...until LawnStarter worked their magic, & my yard now looks even & clean, meticulous & professional! Highly recommend this service! (Thank you Guadalupe!)

LawnStarter assigned a contractor who trespassed onto my neighbor's yard during a booked service, destroying landscape lighting and plant beds, while leaving my own yard incomplete.

When I submitted photo evidence and requested a claim under LawnStarter’s advertised "$2 Million Property Protection Pledge," support denied coverage. They claimed damage isn't covered if the contractor steps across a property line, and they actively refused to provide their corporate liability insurance info so a claim could be filed.

LawnStarter uses false guarantees to book jobs, then dodges responsibility when their providers cause damage. Avoid this service.

Since Russell has started he has gone above and beyond to make sure our yard looks great and that we’re happy! That is his #1 goal is customer satisfaction! He always has a great positive attitude and come with one thing in mind “making sure we’re happy before he leaves! Thanks for all your hard work!

I always know when my pro is on the way. Communication is clear.

Yard looks good, but did not remove the dead tree limb and fill in the large hole near my driveway.

Jeremiah does great work with the cutting and trimming of my yard, it looks great. My yard looks awesome

Bryan is my favorite of the few people who have come here to take care of my lawn. Maybe it’s because he’s older and more established. He has a great work ethic many of our younger people today. Do not have that good work ethic. Many of them just get the job done but Bryan looks at what he’s doing and takes care of it. Thank you so much for having him be part of my home experience. My house would not look this good at the grass was not as well taken care of as Bryan does.

Do not use, I signed up and for lawn mowing. Contractors never showed. They move you to new contractor that also didn’t show and the won’t let you cancel account. Company won’t do anything but keep moving you to new contractors and then try and charge you extra it’s really a terrible company find some local people yourself don’t waste your time

They do great and consistent work.

I was assigned 3 pros. No one showed up. I decided to have someone else mow my yard because no pro was showing up. My property was not overgrown. I was assigned a new pro that never showed up but the pro stated in the inbox that he edged my property but he never showed up. Along with the pro disconnected the communication in the inbox. I was not able to respond to pro after reading that he had edged my property and didn't. Very 😞 disappointing.

Tracy did a great job servicing my lawn and was pretty quick doing it.

If I could give zero stars I would. The app is easy to use and it’s convenient having someone else search for a “lawn pro”. The idea is great. However, once a “lawn pro” is assigned, they don’t respond to messages and don’t ever show up to the scheduled appointments. So you’re left with a jungle in your yard because no one ever shows up. I don’t recommend this app.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

I’ve only been with LawnStarter for ONE MONTH, and somehow they managed to completely destroy my lawn. The grass has been badly damaged, they mow it terribly, and they leave the cut grass all over the yard instead of properly cleaning it up.

They’ve sent about three different people to take care of my lawn, and honestly, each one has been worse than the previous one. They clearly don’t know how to properly take care of grass.

And the EXTRA CHARGES are ridiculous. No matter what they tell you when you sign up, they constantly find a reason to charge you more, claiming the grass is “too tall.” I have even been charged twice for services, and I still haven’t received my money back.

Trying to communicate with customer service is an absolute nightmare. It’s extremely difficult to reach anyone, and when you finally do, they don’t actually solve anything. Instead, they keep giving you excuses and making the process unnecessarily difficult.

They are also unreliable and frequently late, and there have been multiple times when they simply didn’t show up at all.

What makes the experience even worse is the way they handle cancellations. Instead of simply respecting your decision to cancel, they try to talk you out of it and make you feel like you’re making the wrong decision, while continuing to charge you.

After only ONE MONTH, my lawn looks worse than it did before I hired them, I’ve been overcharged, I’m still waiting for money to be refunded, and I’ve wasted countless hours trying to get someone to actually help me.

Save yourself the headache and find a local lawn service that actually cares about their work and their customers. I would absolutely NOT recommend LawnStarter.
