Angel was great

My husband travelled to see a car that wasn’t there and was told it was at another branch and already reserved.
Paid a deposit and every time I call about a refund, they say someone will call and then hang up when I ask to speak to a supervisor. Do not ignore the red flags at this garage.

We did a five hour round trip from Norwich, AFTER PUTTING DOWN THE £99 DEPOSIT (WHICH STILL HASN'T BEEN RETURNED)
Just to be told that the car was nolonger for sale.
Just avoid, cut your losses, and go home !

This company is awful. I went in looking for a car and the lady and man pressured me into test driving other expensive cars when i was set on one car. They pressured me into putting a deposit and then went ahead and did numerous credit score checks without consent which now affected my credit score. Asked for my deposit and they kept making excuses. I would NOT recommend this place at all especially if you are nervous and looking for your first car, all they care about is making the sale!

Today I sold my car purchased from Car Planet in November 2024, lost so much money as the MOT history demonstrated the car had been clocked 67K down to 42K probably to make it more appealing to me the buyer. I left the dealership in Watford with the history of documents, assumed as they weren’t passed over were in the car. The next day checked the car nothing in glove box, contacted Car Planet who promised to send it through the post, never arrived. Told it was lost in post. They were obviously hiding something, but hey it was only a £9K car and 10 years old so wasn’t too concerned. I will be reporting this to the police and trading standards because they can’t be allowed to get away with this, lost 40% on the sale price best part of £2K. Watch out for these clowns because if they have done it once how many other times.

Don’t buy a car from these people. Look at all the bad reviews , there all true and I suspect a lot of good ones are false as there awful after sales. They won’t reply to emails or phone calls when there’s a problem. I will take them to court and win if I have to. They need to be on watch dog!!

I visited Car Planet Watford absolutely clueless, I had no idea what I was doing, what car I wanted, or even if I was in the right place! 😂

From the very beginning of my visit, the customer service was outstanding. I was initially met by a young man in the car park who noticed me wandering around aimlessly. He was already with another customer but still took the time to make sure I was okay and point me in the right direction. Instantly, I felt at ease!

I was then greeted by a lovely young lady on reception who was incredibly friendly and helpful. She made sure I was looked after and found me an advisor in less than 10 minutes.

Throughout my visit, I was also approached by other members of staff and managers, all checking in to make sure I was okay and being looked after. That level of care really stood out to me and made the whole experience feel genuinely welcoming.

Then came Qaim! What an absolute delight. He was personable, professional, patient and incredibly helpful. An absolute credit to Car Planet Watford. He made what could have been a really overwhelming experience feel easy and enjoyable. And, as an added bonus, he makes an excellent coffee!

Honestly, this was one of the best customer service experiences I’ve had in a very long time. Big up Qaim even more he’s an absolute star! 🙌

Mohammed Malki from sales team done a brilliant job on the day of my purchase on 15th August 2026. However, I have been had some issues and the car has been non drivable which then I followed up with after sales team “Ahmad Safaye” the experience talking to him has been so much pleasure ensured they will cover the costs (only because I promptly followed up with issues soon after they occurred) and sent me a written confirmation over email. He very well understood my current situation, although I had some concerns looking at negative reviews for after sales team, I now want to say all previous negative reviews can be overwritten with my experience. Brilliant honest guy.

I will surely comeback and write a follow-up review post reimbursement about the whole experience which I am sure will go smooth. Just follow-up promptly with all the instructions they mention and be patient as they deal with number of issues.

Drove for 3 hours to view a car. All 4 BMW centre caps on the wheels were missing, the car was dirty and the drivers seat bolster was broken and hanging off. I couldn't have been more frustrated with the experience. I then needed to explain why I wouldnt be spending 26k on a damaged car with cosmetics missing, before it had even been driven away. A very poor experience and complete waste of time.

My 1st car I buy from car planet Watfrod and very good experience.
