Made up pricing structure - scam.
I called in to have two jobs done, an extractor fan added to my bathroom and a light fault. They quoted me an amount for the job without VAT. I then asked about a much smaller job of a thermostat fitting and they added £200 + VAT. I accepted this price but felt quite uncomfortable that they were charging £200 (+vat) for a thermostat so ended up cancelling the part of the job that involved the thermostat.
When I requested a reduction in price for the part-cancellation, they where very shady about my refund despite me knowing they'd added £200 onto the price for it.
At first I called in and was told I would get a call back with the same person that booked my job to discuss the refund, I never received this call.
I then rang in again, and got through to someone who told me he didn't know how much to take off the price since it was about a £20 job.
I asked him to listen to my original call back to prove the original price I had been offered, and the additional quote for the thermostat. His response was 'what would I do that for?'.
After some back and forth with them being increasingly more rude, I ended up cancelling the whole job because I felt extremely uncomfortable about the fact that they weren't interested in investigating or honouring my original quote. I've seen many other of these 1 star reviews mention the same poor customer service when complaint handling, clearly not a unique experience.
I wish I hadn't agreed to pay the full amount upfront and now will have to trust that they are processing my refund.
It's clear that their pricing structure was whatever amount of money they thought they could make out of me.
As a customer your biggest fear is getting ripped off by tradespeople who know more about the job than you do. I certainly believe thats what happen here.
They also don't reply to their emails (I've sent 3) which isn't particularly helpful when trying to contact them.

I booked an EICR (landlord's electrical safety check) - good communication with job status updates. They did overlook sending me the receipted invoice and the Report afterwards, but once I reported this oversight they apologised and sent this essential paperwork very quickly (well, to be honest, I did prompt twice 😊, but on the second prompt, which I did via a not-positive Trust Pilot review [now deleted!]), they sent the paperwork within an hour - and also rang to apologise and say they will correct whatever on their system created the oversight). All's well that end's well! Essentially, a trustworthy, professional, friendly company, and that's what matters.

The fitting of an integrated cooker hood is a good test of an electrician’s skill to assemble the appliance, make it fit and work. Jordan displayed a methodical approach, read the instructions, and patiently worked his way through the process and kept me informed as he worked. His customer service qualities were appreciated as was his determination to deliver a fully operating unit.

I honestly couldn’t recommend Ryan and his team highly enough. They recently looked after my father with the installation of his EV charger, and from start to finish they were absolutely brilliant.

Ryan was incredibly helpful, professional and reassuring, taking the time to explain everything clearly and making sure my father was completely comfortable with what was being done. The whole team were friendly, respectful and extremely tidy, and the quality of the work was excellent.

Competitive quote for EV Charger and they really know what they were talking about. Installation was quick, clean and high quality. Install was scheduled much quicker than others I called, and done when they said it was. Hope to use them again.
