I have always been a fan of Vamoose. I have been using them since 2005 when they stopped in Tenleytown. I tried others (Greyhound, Mega, Bolt, Washington Deluxe) when the fare wars began. I sacrificed a lot for a small difference in price. The scheduling is perfect for me, as is the locations both in NYC (near Penn)and Bethesda (closer to Rockville and I don't have to take Metro from Union). The bus almost always leaves on time and drivers and baggage handlers are courteous.

Vamoose is so easy, no hassle!

I use Vamoose quite frequently when traveling to New York. Most recently, on 07/19/15-07/20/15. I traveled to NY on their Gold Bus. It was very quiet and comfortable with single row seats on one side, and the double seats are much wider than on the regular buses. Coming back, I was on the regular bus. It was still very quiet, and the driver, though he hit rush hour traffic, still got us to our destination timely. Only drawback was the restroom was very dirty and smelly, but that has less to do with the bus company, and more to do with the nasty passengers that used the restroom! I am going to NY again this weekend, and will be on Vamoose!!

Power source, comfortable seats, comfortable ride. They will give you a water bottle before entering only if you ask for one. Bathroom fine. Driver diverted on city streets presumably to avoid bad traffic.

Bus was on time and clean. Driver gave a few instructions before we left our original location which I appreciated . . . some rules, instructions, and just miscellaneous information that was helpful. Ride was consistently smooth. Bus experience was great and one of the best ways to travel to New York these days.

Ride TO NYC from Rosslyn was great because it was a "no stop in Betesda" bus! We got to NYC about 10:30am. The ride home was longer and we made a brief stop. The driver was no nonsense and everyone complied with his rules. No complaints - only praise for the Vamoose safety, comfort and efficiency.

This was my first time. I had no idea what to expect. It was wonderful!

Well organised, well driven service. I love travelling on the Vamoose bus - its always my first choice for travel between Bethesda MD and New York City!

Clean, quiet, decent bathrooms considering they're on a bus, helpful staff . . . It was my first time on Vamoose and I would definitely choose it again.

Even though there was a bad traffic jam near the end, the driver took an alternate route to avoid the mess. Cooperatively, i was able to be seated on an earlier bus than I booked.

Scheduling, rescheduling and rescheduling the reschedule are all possible with Vamoose Bus. I have never had a problem with the service or staff in NYC or MD. If I arrive at the stop early, I can get on an earlier bus if there is a seat. All my friends know of your service. Don't change much of anything.

As usual, my trips to and from NYC were just as advertised by Vamoose. My reservations were placed and taken with no trouble over the internet. The busses were clean, roomy, and the rides wee very relaxing. Even though there was an unscheduled stop by the Maryland police to check all records, etc., we made good time. That is why I highly recommend Vamoose.

Took Vamoose from NYC to DC on a Sunday afternoon. Left on time, got there on time. Wifi was as good as expected. Would do it again.

I only recommend that seat numbering especially for those of us who have purchased two ticket with our spouse, that the two seat configuration have assigned seats so that we can sit together.

It may sound meaningless, but it creates potential tension when politely asking someone, "do you mind switching seats so that I can sit with my spouse?"

Then the remaining seats in the two seat configuration can be filled by single seat ticket holders.

I always take Vamoose from NY to VA. One negative was the wifi just really did not work for us. Which was unfortunate because we were trying to get work done on the bus. Bus ride down we sat on the right side of the bus on the way back we sat on left hand side. Left seemed to have much less leg room, not that comfortable.

The only problem was the amount of traffic we faced, but Vamoose can't control that. Thanks Vamoose!
