We went on holidays with On the Beach last year and everything went well. We had access to chat to discuss any additional requirements. We are going again to same location this year and have used On The Beach again. I like being able to book online from one place and being instantly able to see what any changes to the booking impacts the cost of the whole holiday so I can choose best dates and times to travel.

3/04/26 Again, no refund available despite onthebeach informing me that it was, tried to engage with their live chat, was told that it not available. Avoid this company they have charged me for a service which i did not receive & have not given me my money back yet!! At this stage now I'll have to seek legal advice. What an absolute mess by On The Beach. Still no communication from them, no accountability & no apology.
2/04/26, Again, I had to reach out via live chat regarding my refund, was informed that my refund was processed & ready to collect, more gaslighting from onthebeach, refund not ready to collect. Still waiting communication from this company regarding my situation, no accountability, no apology, no refund. I have spend almost a week now waiting for flight confirmations which did not come as flights were not booked and my refund. Onthebeach.ie continue to ignore their customer. Be warned ⚠️
1/04/26 Despite onthebeach reaching out to Trustpilot for my contact details, there has still been no contact from onthebeach & still no refund!!!! I have just received an email stating that my holiday is cancelled due to me 'ghosting them'!!!! I actually am speechless!! Avoid this company!!
Update to response, my flights were never booked by onthebeach as per our contract, no one contacted me to inform me about this despite me asking for confirmation and having paid for flights ! Instead they charged me a service fee of over €1100. I had to keep contacting them, no accountability, no apology, wanted me to pay additional money for new flights due to their mistake, offered refund, still awaiting refund. Obviously no holiday! Two very disappointed children! I would advise NEVER to use this company.

I booked a family holiday, flights & hotel. I received an order request email & a confirmation email was to follow within 48 hours. I received the confirmation email stating that the hotel had been reserved, but no flight bookings. The full amount had already been taken out of my account. On the email it had charged me over €1100 for a service fee.
I engaged with the live chat which was unable to help me in any way, it just kept sending me this same confirmation booking email with no flight bookings. I continued to ask for my flight bookings, but I never received them. I asked to speak with someone, but was told that this is the only communication they have. I rang the helpline number provided on their website, it did not ring, but a message came on saying 'number not recognised'. DO NOT use this service, they have taken the full amount agreed for hotel & flights from my bank account and we have no flights, I cannot contact them and they have charged me a service fee of over €1100 for reserving a hotel which cost less than this!

Left stranded at Tenerife airport until we found our driver. Hotel was ok, staff were nice, food not so good. When we checked out, we were not told that our transfer would not be picking us up at the hotel so we missed it and had to pay 40€ for a taxi which we will need On The Beach to pay for so contact us.

URGENT – Cannot access support and booking issue unresolved
DO NOT LISTEN WHEN THEY DIRECT YOU TO LIVE CHAT AS IT IS AN AUTOMATED SYSTEM THAT LOCKS YOU IN A LOOP WHEN IT CANT RESOLVE YOUR COMPLAINT
My return flight has been changed by the airline but my ticket has not been reissued correctly.
My booking is now showing as cancelled/on hold in the airline system and I cannot check in or manage it.
I have tried live chat, WhatsApp, social media pages and email and cannot reach a human – all channels are automated or blocked.
I travel in 2 weeks and need urgent manual intervention.
Please contact me immediately to resolve this.

After paying for my holidays, the following day they told me at the end hotel is not available. Asked me if I would like to switch for another one. I told them no please make a refund . Till now no refund and they have not come back to me to say when are going to do the refund
Will never try them again
Today 48 h later they have sent me an email to process my refund but have to pay 164 euros of admin fees to collect my refund!

Hotel was excellent. Food and drink very high quality and choice and holiday price brilliant.
However - be advised -cats frequently roam through the dining area and are being fed from table by some guests. 🤮
Smoking is very prevalent in the area and while there are outside smoking areas, automatic doors and smoke rising from ground floor patio means that the smell of smoke is often very pervasive.
Animation team can be a bit over eager at times. Big shout out to Furkan who was very friendly and inclusive but not intrusive!!

Great price and fabulous location but work was being carried out in apartment above. Drilling and hammering from 9am. On our second last day we woke up to find three men digging up the back garden area and taking their break on our terrace!!!

OnTheBeach was fantastic - until it wasn’t. Booking, engagement, people - all great while booking and checking a couple of details. I left several 5-star reviews. Then, with no information and zero fact-based explanation or justification, they cancelled our booking leaving us with no option except to accept. Despite requests, no negotiation, no explanations, no alternative options allowed. In the greater scheme of things, holidays are hardly important and should be the least of our worries, especially given what’s happening in the world. This is not a moan about missing a holiday or even about cancellation; rather, it is about OnTheBeach being disingenuous and misleading. Neither hotel nor flights were cancelled by the operators and we were able to book the same holiday on the same flights directly with the airline and hotel. The holiday may not happen and so what. But if it doesn’t happen, it will be because the airline has actually cancelled, not because OnTheBeach anticipates that potential.

Title: Left Paying for Two Hotels – No Accountability, no support, no resolution from On the Beach
Booked a family holiday with On the Beach and was forced to leave the hotel due to serious concerns including poor hygiene, food safety issues, illness, lack of facilities, and conditions that did not match what was advertised.
I reported everything immediately to both the hotel and On the Beach. Despite multiple contacts, no meaningful assistance was provided — only repeated responses stating they were “waiting on the hotel,” with no resolution or timeframe.
Travelling with three children, I had no reasonable option but to relocate to alternative accommodation at my own expense.
On the Beach have since refused a refund, relying on “hotel decision” and “non-refundable terms.” This is not a cancellation — this is a clear failure to provide the service as described.
The outcome is that I have been left paying for two hotels.
What is most concerning is the complete lack of accountability when issues arise. As the package provider, I expected support. Instead, responsibility was deflected, leaving me unsupported and out of pocket.
I am now pursuing a chargeback and have escalated this matter to the regulator.
I would strongly advise others to consider how issues are handled if something goes wrong.
Cannot speak with an advisor by phone or email. Eventually through what’s app but is a bot and automated generic responses. And after days got a response that no refund will be issued despite there being a breach of contract and services not matching what was advertised at time of booking.
