Phoned to ask how much they pay per ounce for Fine Silver, but the guy who answered wouldn't tell me! Which is never a good sign, lol.
Then said in a slightly curt, second-hand car dealer tone that I had to list items in an email etc, load of old waffle.
So checked website to confirm it was the right number & found their price scale.
For Fine Silver coins they pay £25.67 per ounce.
Spot price at time of writing £56.39!
No wonder he was so shy!!

This is a very unfair negative review….
You called the shop earlier today and spoke with my father in law Chris. You enquired about the price of .999 silver rounds. Chris wasn’t sure what we pay for these, he apologised, and politely asked you if you could email across a list of the items for a valuation from myself.
Unfortunately, I am not always in the shop myself, so we are unable to offer immediate quotes on specific items.
We consistently pay 90-100% of spot for .999 silver 1oz coins or rounds. The prices you are quoting above are from our ‘scrap’ pricing tables.
This was not an attempt to withhold information from you to ‘buy something cheap’. This is not how we operate. You would not have been invited to send across a list for a written valuation if this was the case….
