Do not leave BT to go to Expert Telecom
I joined this company in June after foolishly responding to an unsolicited phone call. The sales person had details of my existing account with BT, and claimed that ET could reduce my broadband and telephone charges to a fraction of what I was paying BT, which was about £48 a month including line rental. The sales person offered me a deal of £138 per annum for line rental, and £13.98 per month for broadband and phone. It seemed too good an offer to refuse. All seemed to go well; I received confirmation of these terms in writing, and an ET router, which, to be fair has worked perfectly up to the present. It all started to go "pear shaped" when I received my first invoice for £42.35. This did not include line rental as ET had already taken payment for the year by direct debit. I have now received a second monthly invoice for £78.88. I have queried these bills by phone with ET staff, but have received no satisfactory explanation for why they bear no relation to the charges I ageed to, and which were confirmed in writing in hard copy. There is also the issue of BT's termination charge, which ET claimed they could have waived. This matter is still unresolved. I am not a happy bunny.

We had problems with the broadband signal in our house. I wrote to the company, and they resolved it. David was superb; he really listened and provided a great resolution. Very responsive and helpful and kept in constant contact until the matter was resolved satisfactorily. Extremely pleased with the resolution and the service from David in particular. Very appreciative and a good advert for this company.
